YUKON CIRCUS SOCIETY
The Yukon Circus Society is a non-profit organization based in Whitehorse. Our mandate is to bring circus arts to the Yukon in the form of public presentations, circus education, and guest artists, and to develop a presence on the national and international scene.
The Yukon Circus Society was founded on April Fools Day 2011 by multi-disciplinary artist and National Circus School graduate Claire Ness. Since then we have been offering summer circus camps for kids, teaching workshops in remote communities throughout the Yukon, producing our own performances, presenting visiting performers, and animating various community events.
